Plain, right?

Wrong!

I have been meaning to design some new business cards for myself for, oh, 6 months or so, and have not been able to make up my mind. I couldn't decide if I wanted letterpress or kraft card stock or a cool die cut or spot UV or foil or just the same ol' same ol'.

While messing around with the design one night I decided to do something very simple. But I'm just not a very simple kind of gal. I liked the simplicity though, but felt it needed a serious "umph" factor. Just a little something.

So I settled on raised spot UV. When just looking at the card, you can't see it, but tilt it toward the light and there it is: a little something extra.

I ordered these babies from designline graphics, inc, where they print out all kinds of cool business card stuff. It's where my Viva pal Heather got her fancy foil cards printed a couple of months ago, and I'm pretty much in love with them right now.

I opted for the upgraded card stock, so they're thick and sturdy, and they have a fabulous satin finish.

Have I mentioned I'm in love with them?
