My name is Emily, and I'm addicted to lots of things. Things like to-do lists, shoes, travelling, and chocolate indulgences.

By day I'm a mom and homemaker. By evening/night I'm a graphic and web designer.

I graduated college in 2009 with a degree in Geography and a certificate in Geographic Information Systems. Surprisingly, I was taught to do much more than draw maps. After graduation I realized that I wasn't meant to be a scientist or a GIS weenie, so I took those skills and turned them around to work for me. Now instead of building databases, I build websites, and instead of choosing typography for cartography, I choose it for branding. I turned my science into art. And I love what I do.

When I'm not working I'm playing with Lily, cooking, perhaps doing something crafty like painting or knitting, or I have my nose deep into a good book.
